Home Tour: The Fabulous Merv Griffin's Estate (Part Two)

The Moroccan inspiration continues inside, where custom contemporary furniture and accessories are enhanced by North-African patterns, carvings and latticework. Light pours into the living room where curved sofas, cushions and a fireplace offer a nod to traditional Bedouin style.

Large windows line the home’s South wall, presenting stunning views of the pond and mountains beyond.

You’ll enjoy testing your culinary skills in a fully-equipped kitchen that would impress any professional chef. High-end appliances, a wet bar, ice maker and smooth, stone surfaces are all at your disposal.

I love the kitchen and the rustic equestrian theme.

 Can you imagine how many
fantastic stars have performed in this private nightclub?

Glorious design and exquisite décor continue in Merv Griffin Estate’s ten bedrooms. Each beautifully-appointed room is filled with individual charm, and features soft bed linens, air conditioning and a flatscreen TV.

Nine of the bedrooms house spa-quality en-suites,
with premium fixtures and fittings. Two bedrooms,
including the spacious Master suite, are in the main house.

The bathroom are appointed with natural stone and mosaic tiles.

Four elegant, hexagonal-shaped casitas are found to the East, each containing one bedroom and bath, with a private entrance.

Separate entrances to one of the casitas.

The Guest House

The four remaining rooms are found in idyllic guests houses.

I think that is a wine cooler in the closet.

The great room in the guest house
is very English in decor with over stuff furniture.

The kitchen is very workable and perfect for a guest house. After all, they will only be making coffee.
